1. What is Access Corrections?

Access Corrections processes credit, debit, and pre-paid debit card transactions for the Price County Jail.

2. What kind of deposits can I make through Access Corrections?

The Price County Jail has contracted with Access Corrections to accept on its behalf deposits into an inmate's trust account. These funds can then be used by the inmate to purchase commissary items and phone cards and can also help reduce the inmate's debt to the Jail.

3. What cards does Access Corrections accept?

Access Corrections processes deposits made using cards that have the Visa or MasterCard card brands.

4. Is Access Corrections the only way I can make a deposit?

Access Corrections is just one option you have to add money to an inmate's trust account. You can also send a check or money order via mail to the Price County Jail, PO Box B, Phillips, WI 54555 or you can drop a check, money order or cash off for the inmate at the facility 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

5. Is there a cost to me for using Access Corrections?

Yes. Access Corrections will disclose all service fees to you in advance.

6. What if I don't want to pay the fee?

Access Corrections will allow you to cancel your deposit before you make it without payment a fee.

7. When will the inmate be able to access the funds?

Funds will be available to the inmate on the next business day.

8. Is there a limit on the amount of funds I can deposit for an inmate?

The maximum amount will display for the selected recipient id during the deposit process.

9. Will the inmate be able to access all of the funds I deposit?

If the inmate owes a balance to the Jail, 25% of what is deposited will be collected against that debt at the time of deposit. Thereafter 25% of any new debt or the amount of the new debt itself, whichever is less, will be collected at the time the debt is incurred.
