[ARCHIVED] Phillips Chain Draw Down

A minor water level reduction is scheduled to begin Monday, October 23, 2017, on the Phillips Chain: Soo Lake, Long Lake, Wilson Creek Flowage, Elk Lake, Duroy Lake, Solberg Lake and Musser Lake. Weather pending, Long Lake, Wilson Creek Flowage, Elk Lake, Duroy Lake, Solberg Lake and Musser Lake will be drawn down 8-10 inches. Soo Lake will be drawn down 12 inches. These overwinter drawdowns are done to prevent shore line degradation as ice sheets shift throughout the winter. Levels will return to normal pool in the spring as the snow melts.
