PROJECT: Prentice Dam Rehabilitation Highway Department, Price County, Wisconsin
BID DEADLINE: May 23, 2017 at 11:00 a.m.
NOTICE
Sealed bids for the above project will be received by Price County Highway Department, Price County Highway Department Office, Attn: Highway Commissioner, 704 N. Lake Ave, PO Box 169, Phillips, WI 54555, until the Bid Deadline. Immediately thereafter, the bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.
Bids shall be submitted in accordance with the documents prepared by Flambeau Engineering dated May 2017.
In general the project consists of concrete crack repairs, concrete surface repairs, removal of riprap, installation of Armorflex blocks, construction of anchor wall and installation of tieback rod to support existing wall and painting of hoist frames.
A pre-bid meeting to examine the project site will be held on May 17, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. Meet at the project site located in the Village of Prentice on the Jump River, Price County. The Engineer and Owner will be present. Attendance is highly recommended but not mandatory.
A single prime bid will be received for the work. BID SECURITY
Bids must be accompanied by bid security in the amount of 5% of the maximum bid amount. Bid and bid security may not be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after the Bid Deadline.
Bid security will be retained if the Bidder is awarded the Work and fails to execute Agreement, furnish 100% Performance and Payment Bonds and furnish required documentation in a timely manner.
QUALIFICATIONS
If requested, the apparent low bidder will be required to submit evidence of qualifications to the Owner prior to award of contract.

Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities in any bid.
