Sealed proposals will be received by the Price County Highway Department until 8:30 AM on March 4, 2026.
Pulverize the full depth of the existing asphaltic surface (22’ Wide and Approximately 3” Depth) until 97% or more will pass the 3” (50mm) sieve. Also pulverize the existing base to a depth determined by the Highway Department to mix the pulverized asphaltic material.
Traffic control will be provided by Price County Highway Department.
- Specify size of machine (HP, width)
- Proposals will be by the linear mile on varying width pavements
- Pulverizing scheduling will have to coincide with asphalt plant availability
Mail or deliver sealed proposals to the Price County Highway Department, 704 North Lake Ave., Phillips WI 54555. Proposal envelopes must be sealed and marked as “2026 Pulverizing PCHD Proposal” and include a complete Proposal Form. Proposals received will be evaluated at the March 4, 2026, meeting of the Highway and Transportation Committee at 9:00 A.M. at the Price County Board Room 101. The Highway and Transportation Committee reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or portions thereof, to accept any or all proposals or portions thereof and to waive any technicalities in any proposal deemed most advantageous to Price County.
