1. When should I report an accident?

Any accident must be reported when it results in:

Injury or death of a person.
$1,000 or more total damage to property owned by any one person.
Damages of $200 or more to government property (except motor vehicles).

2. How much time do I have to report an accident?: All accidents should be reported immediately or as soon as practicable.

3. Who should I report the accident to?: Minor accidents should be reported to the Price County Sheriff's Office at 715-339-3011. Any accident involving personal injury or road blockage should be reported by calling 9-1-1.

5. How can I find out what's on my driver record?: You can obtain an official copy of your driver record from the Wisconsin Department of Transportation DMV. There is a $5 fee for each record requested.

6. How do I obtain a copy of a crash report?: You can request a copy of an accident report from the Sheriff's Office here. You may also purchase one through the Wisconsin Department of Transportation.
