1. What is the D.A.R.E. Program?

D.A.R.E. is a cooperative effort by the police, schools, parents, and the community - all 4 working together, to help our children make the right choices concerning drug use.

2. How long is the program?

The program runs for 12 weeks.

3. Where is the program taught?

The program is taught to 5th grade students at the Prentice Middle School with a brief 4-week program being taught to 4th grade students at the Prentice Elementary School.

4. Who teaches the D.A.R.E. Program?

Deputy Laurie Zondlo is the D.A.R.E. Officer in Price County and is a 19 year veteran instructor.

5. What will my child learn during the D.A.R.E. Program?

Your child will be given accurate information about drugs, alcohol, prescription drug use, tobacco, peer pressure, bullying, stress and internet safety.
