Vaccines For Children

The VFC program is a federally funded program that provides vaccines at no cost to children who might not otherwise be vaccinated because of inability to pay.  The VFC program was officially implemented on October 1, 1994.  Under the VFC program, all vaccines that are approved by the Advisory Council on Immunization Practices (ACIP) for children less than 19 years of age are available to you through Price County Public Health. These vaccines are provided by the state of Wisconsin’s Medicaid Plan.
