Trails are open and in good to excellent condition. Grooming is taking place on a regular basis. Some corners may be icy. Use caution on lakes as some surfaces may be rough. Our area is predicted to receive 2"-4" of snow by Tuesday evening.
Trail 80 north of Lugerville is now open.
A new trail connecting Trail #102 at Three Mile Corner to Catawba area Trail #80 a couple miles north of trail #181/16 has about a 1 mile rough section due to lack of snow.
Please slow down and use caution whenever you see "Logging Ahead" or "Trucks Hauling" signs on the trail.
Price County snowmobile trails remain open through March 31.
ATV WINTER TRAIL RIDING
ATV use is allowed on the following trails through March 14 - The Flambeau Trail System in the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest, which is shared with snowmobiles; and the Georgetown Trail west of Phillips in the Price County Forest, which is not groomed. Trails in southern Price County that are open to ATV use during snowmobile season include the Pine Line Rail Trail (snowmobile trail 23/102), and a connecting trail to Timm’s Hill (snowmobile trail 189), Wisconsin’s highest geographical point, along with a few miles of town roads and some additional snowmobile trails which allow access to lodging, gas and restaurants.

COUNTRY SKI TRAIL REPORT... 2/8/10
Price County's nine cross-country ski trails are open with most in very good to excellent condition. Our area is predicted to receive 2"-4" of snow by Tuesday evening. The trail information listed below is updated when we receive the trail managers' reports.
Timm's Hill National Trail was groomed and tracked on 2/3/10. The condition is excellent. (Report as of 2/4/10) Beginner to expert level for classic and skate skiing. Go to www.timmshilltrail.com for more information.
Palmquists' Trail is groomed and tracked on a regular basis and is in good to very good condition. (Report as of 1/20/10) This trail offers classic and skate skiing. For current trail conditions or more information, contact Palmquists' The Farm at 800-519-2558.
Holy Cross Trail was groomed and tracked 1/27/10. The trail is in very good condition. The next anticipated grooming is 2/8/10. (Report as of 2/2/10) Beginner and intermediate level for classic skiing only.
Solberg Lake/Squaw Creek Trail was groomed and tracked 1/127/10. The trail is in very good condition. The next anticipated grooming is 2/8/10. (Report as of 2/2/10) Beginner level for classic skiing only.
Phillips School Forest Trail was groomed and tracked 1/31/10. The trail is in excellent condition.

High Point Trail (map) is groomed and tracked on a regular basis and is in very good condition. Intermediate and expert level for classic and skate skiing. For current trail conditions or more information, contact High Point Village and the Hill of Beans Cafe at 715-767-5287.
Flambeau Hills & Snuss Connector Trail were groomed and tracked 1/26/10. Trail conditions are good to excellent. The next anticipated grooming is 2/4/10. (Report as of 2/2/10). Beginner to expert level for classic and skate skiing. These trails are located in the Flambeau River State Forest.
A 1.8 km Candlelight Ski event is scheduled for Saturday, February 6, from 6 - 9 pm beginning at the Flambeau Hills parking lot on County Hwy W. Trail passes are waived during event. Campfires, food, and cooking grill available. Trail will be open to skiing, snowshoeing and hiking. Approximately 900 candles will be placed on trail.
Newman Springs Trail was groomed and tracked on 2/1/10. Trail condition is fair to good. The next anticipated grooming is 2/4/10. (Report as of 2/2/10) Beginner and intermediate level for classic skiing only. Dogs are allowed to accompany skiers on this trail. This trail is located in the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest
Wintergreen Trail was groomed and tracked on 1/28/10. Trail condition is fair to good.
