The trails will open in December 2008 following the anterless deer season that is being held December 11 - 14, 2008.
Trail Conditions:
Timm's Hill Trail, groomed 4/2/08 (no tracks were set), skating and diagonal skiing, excellent condition, reported 4/1/08
Palmquists' Trail, this trail is no longer being groomed, skating & diagonal skiing, good condition, reported 3/20/08
Holy Cross Trail, this trail is no longer being groomed, there is ample snow, diagonal skiing only, conditions vary throughout the day, reported 3/18/08
Log Jam Trail, this trail is no longer being groomed, there is ample snow, diagonal skiing only, conditions vary throughout the day, reported 3/18/08
Solberg Lake/Squaw Creek Trail, this trail is no longer being groomed, there is ample snow, diagonal skiing only, conditions vary throughout the day, reported 3/18/08

Flambeau Hills Ski & Snuss Connector Trails, this trail is no longer being groomed, there is ample snow, skating and diagonal skiing, good condition, reported 3/14/08.
The 2.7km Squirrel Tail trail is temporarily closed due to active logging operations to salvage timber damaged in a 2006 wind storm. It is anticipated the trail will be closed until early March. Skiers are being detoured onto Pinery Grade trail, which is groomed for two way skiing. All other trails are open. These trails are located in the Flambeau River State Forest.
Newman Springs Trail, this trail is no longer being groomed, there is ample snow, diagonal skiing only, poor condition due to warming and cooling temps, the trail has a 3-4 inch base; this trail will most likely not be groomed again this season; reported 3/26/08. This trail is located in the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest
Wintergreen Trail, this trail is no longer being groomed, there is ample snow, skating & diagonal skiing, poor condition due to warming and cooling temps, the trail has a 3-4 inch base; diagonal skiiers - please stay in the established tracks only; this trail will most likely not be groomed again this season; reported 3/26/08. This trail is located in the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest

Oxbo Ski Trail - 8 miles / 13 km - This trail is no longer maintained or groomed but skiers are welcome to use the trail.
