SNOWMOBILE & WINTER ATV TRAIL REPORT...3/20/09

Price County snowmobile trails are closed to both snowmobiles and ATVs due to the arrival of Spring. See you next season!

 

CROSS COUNTRY SKI TRAIL REPORT...3/20/09

Price County’s nine cross-country ski trails are bare. See you next season!

Cross Country Ski Trail Conditions:

Timm's Hill Trail is not skiable. Go to www.timmshilltrail.com for more information. (Report as of 3/18/09)

Palmquists' Trail is not skiable. For more information, contact Palmquists' The Farm at 800-519-2558.

Holy Cross Trail  is not skiable. (Report as of 3/20/09)

Solberg Lake/Squaw Creek Trail is not skiable. (Report as of 3/20/09)

Worcester School Forest Trail is not skiable. (Report as of 3/20/09) Directions: From Hwy. 13 in Phillips, take County Road H to Big Elk Road, then turn right on North Worcester Road. You can open the gate and drive into the parking lot; if the gate is locked, you can walk or ski the 1/3 mile to the trail.

High Point Trail (map) is not skiable. (Report as of 3/20/09) - Contact High Point Village for trail conditions at 715-767-5287.

Flambeau Hills & Snuss Connector Trail is not skiable. (Report as of 3/20/09) The trail offers diagonal and skate skiing. These trails are located in the Flambeau River State Forest.

Newman Springs Trail is not skiable. (Report as of 3/20/09) Dogs are allowed to accompany skiers on this trail. This trail is located in the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest

Wintergreen Trail is not skiable. (Report as of 3/20/09) This trail offers diagonal and skate skiing. This trail is located in the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest

Log Jam Trail is no longer being groomed but skiers and snowshoers are welcome to use the trail.

Round Lake Ski Trail - 7 miles / 11 km - This trail is no longer being groomed but skiers are welcome to use the trail. For more information, go to http://www.fs.fed.us/r9/cnnf/rec/trailsntours/map_round_lake_logging_dam.html

Oxbo Ski Trail - 8 miles / 13 km - This trail is no longer being maintained or groomed but skiers are welcome to use the trail.

When using a trail shared by cross country skiiers, please do not snowshoe on the tracked portion of the trail.
