Location: 1 mile east of Field on State Highway 70, 8 miles south on Hick’s Landing Road
Length: 3.5 miles on ski trails, additional mileage connecting to forest roads.

Season: May to November
Trail Description: Gently rolling terrain.
Cross-country Skiing – 5.4 km
This a very good trail for the beginning skier. Older skiers might also find the relatively flat trails just right for a daily exercise routine. The trail is scenic and passes through both pine and aspen timber. Groomed for classic skiing only by the Flambeau Nordic Ski Club. Parking is available 6 miles northeast of Phillips near Fifield. Travel north of Phillips on Old Hwy 13, turn right on West Solberg Lake road, then turn left on Hick’s Landing Road.
Snowshoeing
The snowshoe trail runs parallel to the ski trail. Please stay off the groomed trail portion.
Horseback Riding
Horseback riding is allowed on these non-motorized trails.
