Wildlife Viewing

Bear-in-Tree-3-T.J.Podmolik-2008

Price County is home to a variety of wildlife. There are many trails, country roads and wilderness areas which provide opportunities for you to see some of the many wildlife species native to our area. Wildlife is more active at dusk and dawn and during the spring and fall. A list of wildlife viewing areas is shown below. For best viewing, wait quietly and scan the clearings adjacent to wooded areas. Binoculars are helpful, especially during the spring hatching times when it is best to keep your distance.

Wildlife Guides – Consider contacting a guide for a photography hunt or wildlife viewing expedition.
