Snowshoeing
Several trail systems in Price County cater to those who wish to explore the region upon snowshoes. Snowshoeing is also allowed along the side of several cross-country ski trails. Only cross-country skiers are allowed on the groomed portions of the winter trails; others are welcome to use the side of the trail that is not groomed. Snowshoeing is available on Price County hiking trails or wildlife areas in the thousands of acres of national, state and county forests located throughout the county. And snowshoeing is allowed on snowmobile trails, but for your safety, be prepared to get off the trail as soon as you hear snowmobiles approaching.
