ATV Registration Applications

Wisconsin residents must display a registration sticker on their ATV to ride on Wisconsin ATV trails.   

Non-residents must either display a Wisconsin registration sticker or an ATV Non-Resident Trail Pass decal. If you wish to register your ATV in Wisconsin and ride immediately, Wisconsin ATV registration applications must be validated prior to the operation of the machine on Wisconsin trails. The validation process occurs when a registration application and fees are submitted, reviewed and accepted at a DNR Validation Station. A validated copy will be issued and must be carried with the operator while operating the machine.  A copy of the validated registration application will act as a temporary registration until your decals and certificate of registration arrive in the mail.
