Directions:
Take Hwy. 13 in Phillips to County Road H to Big Elk Road, then turn right on North Worcester Road. The trail is on the west side of the road. You can open the gate and drive into the parking lot; it is 1/3 mile to the trail.
Trail Description:
There are five very scenic loops ranging from .6 to 1.2 miles, three expert, one intermediate and one beginner. The trail winds through a diverse forest and an open meadow and varies from gently rolling to steep hills.

Cross-country Skiing – 3.5 miles/ 5.6km of Ski Trails

This very scenic trail is located in the Phillips School Forest and consists of five (5) cross-country ski loops ranging from gently rolling to steep climbs and winds through a diverse forest and an open meadow. Loop 1 is an intermediate loop, loops 2, 3 & 4 are expert with uphill climbs, and loop 5 is good for beginners. There are separate multi-use trails for snowshoeing, hiking & mountain biking. Directions: From Hwy. 13 in Phillips, take County Road H to Big Elk Road, then turn right on North Worcester Road and travel 1/4 mile to the entrance. You can open the gate and drive the 1/3 mile to the parking lot / trailhead.

Allowed to side of the set cross-country skiing tracks – please do not snowshoe on diagonal skiing tracks.
