Directions:
From the intersection of State Highways 13 and 182 in Park Falls, drive east 12.5 miles on Highway 182 to the trailhead which is on the right (south) side of the highway.
Trail Description:
The main ski trail has several low areas that do not make it favorable for mountain biking.   However, the western edge of the trail system features rolling terrain and connects to ATV trail 105.   This is a beautiful section of trail overlooking the springs.  A National Forest parking fee is required.  The daily fee can be paid at the trailhead.  An annual sticker can be purchased at the Forest Service Office on Hwy. 13 in Park Falls.

Cross-Country Skiing – 9.6 km

Located in the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest, this trail system is designed for both beginning and intermediate skiers.  There are no exceptionally difficult sections of trail, and skiers can take in the beautiful scenery as they stride along. The trailhead is located 12 miles east of Park Falls on Hwy. 182.  A National Forest parking fee is required.  The daily fee can be paid at the trailhead.  An annual sticker can be purchased at the Forest Service Office on Hwy. 13 in Park Falls.

Snowshoeing

Allowed to side of the set cross-country skiing tracks – please do not snowshoe on diagonal skiing tracks.

Horseback Riding

Horseback riding is allowed, although the trail is often quite wet.
