Trail Description: Wide twin track. There are over 100 miles of logging roads and multi-use trails open to mountain biking in the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest. The trails offer a generally hard packed trail surface with some loose rock, sand and water holes. ATV traffic is regularly encountered. Trails are marked although the logging roads may not be. Special points of interest include the covered bridge at the Smith Rapids campground and the historic wooden logging dam at Round Lake. Trails are open to snowmobiles when snow covered.
