Park Falls Farmers Market
Located in Tourist Park at the corner of Sherry Avenue & Linden Street in Park Falls, across from Flambeau Hospital – From Hwy. 13 in downtown Park Falls, go east on Hwy. 182 then north on Sherry Avenue two blocks to Linden Street.
Every Wednesday from 2:00 – 5:15 p.m. through September
Items vary each week depending on what fruits and vegetables are in season. Quest cards/Food Stamps can be used for food purchases at the market and “Market Dollars” are accepted by all vendors. They are available for purchase at the market and are a great idea for gift giving or incentives. New vendors at the market are always welcome – contact the Market Manager.
August 13th – Salsa making 3:30–4:00 p.m.; pressure canner gauge testing 4:00 – 4:30; sponsored by the UW Extension, they can also answer questions about how to preserve foods safely using various methods.
August 20th – Children’s cooking class 2:30 p.m.; no charge, registration is encouraged by calling 715-762-7515.
August 27th – Customer appreciation day 2:00-5:15 p.m.; recipe sampling, come join us for a taste of the harvest prepared at the market; 4–4:30 – UW extension available to test pressure canner gauges.
Each week at the market recipes are available that have been compiled by Price County Wellness Coalition along with food samples prepared by Flambeau Hospital Nutrition Services.
