County park and campground | Old 13 Road to West Solberg Lake Road, northeast of Phillips
A premier northwoods campground and day-use park located on a 35-acre peninsula extending into Solberg Lake. This 45-unit campground accommodates RV’s, trailers and tents. Solberg Lake is perfect for fishing, water skiing and swimming.
Campground and Facility Description
Location: N10750 Cty. Park Road, Phillips, WI – Hwy. 13 north of Phillips to Old 13 Road, 2 ½ miles on Old 13 Road, then 2 ½ miles on West Solberg Lake Road to the park entrance, located northeast of Phillips. View Map (pdf).
Description: There is a beautiful beach on the southern most point surrounded by red pine. The campground usually fills up on weekends Memorial Day through Labor Day & the weeks preceding and following the 4th of July. See Park Map (pdf).
Facilities include:
- 60-unit campground, 54 sites with electrical hookups, year-round – check-out time is 2pm, 30-day limit at any one site
- camp fees required
- campsites cannot be reserved
- two pay for use shower and flush toilet buildings (open Memorial Day weekend through the last weekend in September)
- open air shelter w/electricity (to reserve call 715-339-6371 – fee required)
- sanitary dump station, open when the water is turned on (about the first weekend in May through mid-October) – use fee (quarters are required)
- sand volleyball court, horseshoe pit (must provide own volleyball and horseshoes)
- caretaker on site Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend
- sites have picnic table/fire ring
- firewood provided
- pressure water (faucet & drinking fountain), mid-April through mid- to late-October, weather permitting
