Price County Forests
The Price County region is home to over 300,000 acres of public forest lands. The Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest, Flambeau River State Forest and Price County Forest together form a vast wilderness area that supports an excellent population of Northwoods wildlife. Black bear, deer, turkey, bald eagles, ruffed grouse and timber wolves make their home in area woodlands.
