Fishing and Ice Fishing

Fish Species
Price County may offer the best multi-species freshwater fishing in the country. Roaming our waters are walleye, musky, northern pike, large and small mouth bass, trout and panfish. In September, you’ll even have the unique opportunity to fish for sturgeon.
Fishing For Musky
Freshwater fishing can be done in many ways, from shore or a boat, from a bridge or dock, in lakes and ponds, and rivers and streams. Ice fishing is also a very popular sport in the area, especially for panfish, walleye, and northern.

Techniques

There are a variety of freshwater fishing techniques, in addition to gear, baits and lures, depending on the type of fish you’re after. Our guides and sport shops are eager to assist you in landing your trophy fish.
